My name is Jaimee and I started this blog to chronicle my journey of making my first house into my first home.
I live in a new construction house which comes with many conveniences but is a bit short on character. I love older homes and it's my dream to one day own one. But for now I will try to make this house into my dream home.
I love shopping for vintage furniture and household items that add character, charm, and a sense of history. I like to stick to a tight budget so most items come from thrift stores, junk shops, craig's list, and family heirlooms. You never know what treasures you will find and it's so rewarding to give something new life instead of letting it end up in the landfill.
Using vintage items makes your home unique. It can be a long process but one that is so worth it!
